Manchester United - Tottenham Hotspur

very hard in the cup against the spurs so might try a different tactic and formation as we havnt been playing the best so lets see what happens

AC Milan v Galatasaray

After our decent win at the weekend we go into this game full of confidence.  No major selection issues and we are hopeful of a positive result.

Bayern Munich - BATE Borisov

I always worry about cup games against lower league teams as they have naff all to lose.
If they get beat it is half expected so they catch you out with daft stuff.

We will make a few changes to give one or two fringe players a run out and hope we have enough to deliver.

Atalanta BC - Marseille

Marseille travel to Italy to take on Atalanta in their 2nd round cup fixture.  Atalanta have been playing well as of late while Marseille have struggled a bit.  It will be interesting to see if Marseille will bounce back and return to form or continue to struggle.

Juventus v Chelsea

We welcome Chelsea to the Allianz Stadium this evening for what will be a tough match against a good team and a top quality manager.

Ronaldo still is looking for his first goal of the season so we will be hoping he breaks his duck tonight.

Atalanta BC - Marseille

An intriguing tie - both teams at Tier 3, Atalanta top of their league, yet on paper a weaker team than Marseille. Will home advantage make the difference?

Starting 11 again picks itself - and the squad members know they will need to come on and impress when they get their chance if they are to get in.  Team midfield make up will vary slightly and there "could" be a tactical change ...

Liverpool - AS Roma

The ultimate "banana skin" of a tie - yes Roma are playing at Tier 2 currently, but they have a 100% league record topping the league, and have just secured an experienced manager in David H who will be making his debut in the dug out for them!

Liverpool, meanwhile, are unbeaten so far, yet are struggling to finish teams off. The signing of young starlet Blair has not gone through in time, so Mane & Origi both get another chance to impress.

Inter v PSG

After two away wins and three clean sheets on the trot, Matt Harrison resisted the temptation to change anything. He had been mulling over a change in formation, but that's because he had forgotten that he had signed a young central defender last week and should really play him. So, a repeat of the weekend's fixture, and a repeat 1-0 win will suit PSG right to the ground.
