Ajax Amsterdam vs Barcelona
So there’s a few changes for this week, after a good performance but bitterly disappointing 3-0 defeat at AC Milan Lucas Moura comes into the line up alongside Ahmedov at the expense of Valencia who is dropped from the matchday squad. We have a good record against Barca, but with experienced advisory Stephen J at the helm and a number of high profile singings it’s a different Barca we gave this weekend in search of points.

Manchester United - AS Roma
1st home match of the season a lot has happened this week at the club but lets try concentrate on football and get our 1st win of the season elanga has been promoted from our youth team to cover the absence up front hoping for a good performance from the lads

Helsingin somethingIcantspell v PSG
Matt Harrison is hoping that his youngsters can continue their winning ways in what could be a tricky match against away to a good team. There's unlikely to be too many changes, although he has let on that their will be a tactical tweak. Just the one. Can you spot it?
-
Sporting Lisbon - Valencia
We make the short trip to Portugal hoping to put our cup defeat behind us and build on the opening day victory. Alex Kral is back from suspension so returns to the lineup at the expense of striker Gotze who has been mis-firing so far this season. Ito Morientes moves to an attacking midfield position as the other beneficiary of Gotze's exclusion but is another player that hasn't found his form yet. We are the better side on paper but know they have a great keeper so need to be on our game to get past him. We think the match will be close so only a goal or two between the sides at the final whistle hopefully in our favour.
-
Liverpool - Olympique Marseille
Our only previous meeting was a League Cup QF back in season 2 where we were comfortable 3-0 winners ..
Since then Chris S has done a great job with them and we dont take this tie lightly ..
Despite our clean sheet in week 1, we make 2 changes in defence with Saka and De Ligt coming in ..where we dominate we still expect defenders to be involved and get forwards ..
Andone replaces Campbell in attack .. as we tweak our tactics to deal with them ...
-
Juventus - FC Zorya Luhansk
This will be a real barometer of where we are at .. playing a former Elite side run by an experienced manager in Daniel ..
Just the one change with Dier coming in as an extra DM .., and some tactical changes ...
Mo Faal remains the focal point of the team ..

Aston Villa - Bayer Leverkusen
Villa welcome an unmanaged Leverkusen to Birmingham. After a 0-0 draw in our first EFLO league match, Villa will be looking to open the scoring in this first home fixture. Villa had a comfortable 3-0 win in the cup mid week, we'll be hoping to build on that momentum. Full squad to select from with the only issue being the fitness of Douglas Luiz who may need a bit of a rest.

Liverpool - Olympique Marseille
Echoing what Manager Raingod said, Liverpool are not going to take newcomers Marseille lightly. We managed a point in our last time out and will be hoping for another positive result. One thing is for certain, the sentiment in the dressing room is one of enthusiasm to take on the enormous task at hand. Marseille will give all we've got.
