It doesn’t get much more difficult for the struggling PSG team than a trip to Athletico, who are still swaggering on the back of their recent derby triumph. Matt Harrison is likely to shut up shop and hope for the best with this one. Recent signing Vicco Fleissmann looks set to make his debut, with high hopes having been pinned on the youngster. Matt Harrison is hoping that his long term plan will pay off in 2030, and sees the young German as central to the plan.

Atletico Madrid v Paris Saint Germain

Looking forward to this one but it won't be easy. We had a top quality victory in the last game but we mustn't be complacent as PSG have a quality manager and can't be far away from starting a strong run of form. They have a quality team too but are perhaps missing that experienced head with such a youthful team. We need to be cautious as a result but are still confident that we'll have plenty of chances. From a team news perspective we have a full-strength squad to choose from which causes problems in itself. Does captain Joao Felix get recalled after injury or does Perry Jones continue to keep his place after 5 goals in 2 games, or perhaps there is place for both of them in the team. We're expecting PSG to shut up shop so feel we may be able to pass around them so if we aim for a possession game we should be able to break them down, even if it takes patience.

Rangers - Valencia

After another good win in midweek and an unbeaten record in the league we're worried about this week's game against a strong Rangers side. We have an injury worry in Molina so Correia comes in for his first start for the team. Up-front the on-form Innocenti is likely to be our danger man again so if he can take his chances we'll be ok, but equally we need to be wary of the opposition. Drunkard loanee Keita continues to feature prominently in the side such are the terms of his loan arrangement, although we tend to under perform when he's playing. It is likely to be cold in Scotland this week and with most of our players European a set of thermals has been ordered for the players to wear under their kit. That is with the exception of keeper Snow who should be perfectly suited to the conditions! Good luck Burrows, may the best team win.

Liverpool - Ajax_Amsterdam

Have yet to lose to a Skittles managed side in previous 4 matches (OK we were *technically* eliminated from the League Cup by them on penalties, but for the purposes of the record books it was a draw ....!)

After a midweek rest due to a bye, and off the back of a great 4-0 victory, we tweak with a diamond formation in midfield.

Whilst the defence didnt have much to do, we stick with 4 at the back as a show of respect.

Williams and Izconil come into the XI.

The Ox will be sidelined for a further 3 games, but Raingod sees no need to enact his "magic sponge" chip, instead saving for later in the season ...

Legia_Warsaw - FC_Spartak_Moscow

A meeting of the 2 new sides in the Uhlsport .. Liverpool did beat them 2-0 in the Pre Season Cup, so Raingod is aware of their strengths and weaknesses!

Bring Mbappe back in as a 2nd striker as we want to take the game to them .. Skipper Dier also returns as a 2nd DM.

Majority of team keep their places as Raingod keeps true to his word ...

Galatasaray_SK - Ludogorets_Razgrad

Galatasary welcome Ludgorets for their 4th league match.  A home match in front of a winless side is the type of match that we need to secure all 3 points from.  We must be confident but not over confident.  Young defender Daman_Yuklu is unavailable due to injury, other than him supporters can expect a strong side to take the pitch.

S1, S2, S3, S4, S5 - Marseille
S1 - Atletico Madrid - Caretaker
S2 - Galatsaray - Caretaker
S4 - Aston Villa - Caretaker

Internazionale - Olympique_Marseille

Difficult fixture for Marseille as we travel to Milan to face an Internazionale side oozing with quality.  "You can see the difference between a newly promoted side like ours compared to a recently relegated side like thiers, this is a statement game for us."  Said Manager Spero in a pre-match statement.

 Celtic v FC BASEL

Another difficult game for us, although most games in this division probably will be.  DO we shut up shop and hit on the counter or go and attack from the start??

 SSC Napoli v AC MILAN

After last week's home defeat to Lazio we will be looking to be on the other end of a result against an Italian team.
