Liverpool vs Ajax Amsterdam

After all the bleating about negative tactics a sense of Deja Vu, Liverpools defeat to Lazio prompted a similar meltdown about tactics from Raingod. It’s odd that there never seems to be any complaint or mention of the opponents tactics when Liverpool win……  ;D Although there is an irony that Mr Long Ball finds time to call other sides negative in their approach to the game.

It’s the same defensive set up for Ajax as the 0-0 draw played out, Liverpool didn’t look like troubling us them, and we won’t be in fear of them troubling us now, with the match on neutral ground, Ajax as underdogs and the neutrals growing weary of Raingods excuses for failing to win games they should it’ll feel like a home tie for the unseeded Ajax bidding to cause an upset and reach the final!

So we face Skitz for the second time in a week ... and the social media comments from far and wide about his negativity have clearly hit a nerve as he was very prickly in the press conference ..

This is Ajax's only chance of a trophy, while we are still in the running for 4, so they will be giving their all in this one ..

Being a neutral venue, we have the confidence to take a more attacking approach, though will not release details ahead of kick off ..

Mindful we lost on penalties to Ajax back in Season 1 (league cup QF) and Raingod has lost ALL FOUR penalty shoot outs he has been involved in in  EFLO, we do not intend to get past 90 minutes without having secured the game ...
