another game were we cant afford to lose we have to keep picking up points if we want to get out of this league  arsenal sit 4th bottom so lets try take advantage of there low postion and try get the win

Ajax vs Real Madrid

There’s been a lot of soul searching among the squad this week, just a solitary draw from the past 4 league matches is a meagre return from the young Ajax side that exploded into form mid season. The calls for wholesale change from some parts of the fans and press have been ignored, as have the opponents this week. The squad has worked hard on their own system and their own game, and with a fully available squad and home tie, a win is the aim from the game.

.. history puts us as favourites - we have won 5 of the previous meetings ...

Stick with 442 but make 4 changes from the draw with Schalke, 2 enforced,  2 performance related ...
