Manchester United    -       Barcelona

LAST game of the season and if we want to finish in the top 4 we have to win simple as that but barca sit in 2nd so it wont be easy but hopefully being at home gives us that advantage and we can sneak in to the top 4

Inter v PSG

with the title won, Matt Harrison has gone a little ‘experimental’ with his team. It’s a formation that he has used to turn around matches from a losing position, but he has no idea how his team will fair when playing it from the start. But with the Parisians being in the elite division next season, he knows that he will need to find different ways to win, so has decided to gamble to see how it goes. It will be interesting…..

Liverpool-       Arsenal

So it all comes down to the final game and the equation is simple ... don't lose and the league is ours ...

I can't see Barca beating Man U by 4 goals, so a draw should be enough ..

Toyed with a back 5 against the draw specialists who are Arsenal, but doesn't feel necessary - we are approx 20 sk pts better than our opponents so this should be enough ... and besides I half expect Drum to go for a crazy approach to stop us winning - and if he does make the breakthrough it will be harder to react ..

We'll play our own game as we have successfully the last 4 seasons ....

Everton    -       FC Zorya Luhansk

A largely irrelevant game for us ... 1 point guarantees 3rd, we are in the play offs regarldless and unsure of the format ..

We therefore rest our stars who are lacking in fitness ready for the play off exertions ..

We try out a formation we have rarely if ever played, and have a weak squad bench - who knows, a great performance by one of them could get them in the next XI?

Everton need to secure their play off slot so will be up for it, as well as having one eye on the WCT final ...

I have nothing to play for, so nothing to lose.

Good luck

ELITE DIVISION

TOP - The title will either stay with Liverpool or go to (for the first time) Barcelona.
Barcelona travel to Manchester United who are still in with a shout of World Club Trophy football next season and this should be an entertaining game. A win by 4 goals for Barcelona could make things interesting.
Liverpool are home to Arsenal, which makes them slight favourites for the title but they have lost at home already this season. Arsenal could make the World Club Trophy with a big win and other results going their way and being the unerdogs means they have nothing to lose.
BOTTOM - Both relegation places are already settled but there are 2 teams battling to stay out of the relegation playoffs.
Manchester City currently have the advantage with a 2 point gap to Ajax but a draw may not be enough as a win for Ajax, with their more goals scored could see them leapfrog City.
Both teams are away. Ajax travel to Bayern Munich and City are away to Tottenham who are not yet guaranteed World Club Trophy football next season. Tottenham's form has dropped recently, losing them a spot in the title race.

ADIDAS

TOP - It's virtually all setteled. PSG are champions and promoted. Benfica will join them in the Elite Division next season. Zorya and Schalke are guaranteed a playoff spot and Everton should join them as Dortmund would need a 10 goal turnaround to deny them if Everton lose. The only thing that isn't confirmed are the final placings within the playoffs.
BOTTOM - 3 of the 4 relegation places are sorted, Leipzig, HJK and Napoli are already down and will be joined by 1 of 3 Italian teams. Juventus have the advantage with a 1 point gap and are managed but they do however have the worst goal difference and entertain promoted Benfica. Lazio and Inter are the other 2 teams in danger. Inter have the worst goal difference and are home to champions PSG whilst Lazio are home to already relegated Leipzig.

NIKE

TOP - It's a 3 horse race (as it has been most of the season) for the title. Wolfsburg sit top 2 points ahead of Aston Villa and 3 ahead of Rangers. Wolfsburg have the toughest game on paper facing playoff hopefulls Levadia Tallinn but Villa's game isn't much easier as they face Borisov who still have a chance to sneak into the playoffs. Rangers have the most ground to make up but they are at home to bottom side Spartak Moscow. If they win (which seems likely) and the other 2 lose then they will be champions.
BOTTOM - The 2 bottom places are already determined. Spartak Moscow are likely to finish bottom and Legia Warsaw will complete the relegation places after a tough season.

UMBRO

TOP - Valencia are champions after battling it out all season with Shakhtar Donetsk who are guaranteed 2nd place and a playoff spot. Atalanta and Galatasaray are also into the playoffs and it's likely they will joined by Lyon. The only team that could deny Lyon are Red Star Belgrade and the two teams meet in the final round of matches. Red Star need to win but Lyon only need a draw to claim the last place.
BOTTOM - Nicosia are bottom and their inferior goal difference means they are relegated. Currently Fiorentina occupy the last relegation place but as this is their first season in the division they cannot be relegated this season. Getafe have the same points and goal difference as Fiorentina but are only above them on goals scored are in danger.
Monaco could end up in the bottom 2 but they have a 3 point advantage and a better goal difference.

Tottenham - Man City

We haven't done very well this season as we lost a lot of games in the middle of the season where we couldn't score. We have been on a better run recently picking us up some points that have stopped us going down automatically but with this game to play which we don't expect to get anything from we have to prepare for a relegation play off which won't be easy. The signing of Julian Dunn has been blamed for the poor form as he hasn't been very good in defence which has seen Declan Eigg take over with the form improving. We have also put Sporar in a wide position which seems to have worked well. Hopefully we can survive this season and buy some improved players in the end of season break.

Valencia - Real Sociedad

We have managed to stay unbeaten in the league all season and got to the semi final of the knockout cup before unfairly losing and still have the League Trophy final to look forward to. Because of that game we have decided not to risk Salas and Molina as they have just returned from injury and hope that we can avoid a defeat to stay unbeaten. Neymar has been credited for the turnaround in our fortunes as he has scored 37 goals this season so will hopefully finish as the Umbro League's top scorer. Hopefully we can find some fresh blood in the end of season break to try and improve our squad. We have won the league now but it was difficult as Shakhtar led the league in the early stages and kept close to us all the way through so it was good that we managed to get enough points to secure the title before the end of the season.
