Bayern ran out deserved winners against Ajax and were the better side. Well played Darlington and good luck for the remainder of the competition

Inspired substitution from the gaffer here, Junior only came on at 79 Mins and fired in 2 quick goals to win the tie. Couple of bad injuries here will hurt us.

RB Leipzig  1 v  Liverpool 3

A comfortable night, Nuwedorp penalty on 9, then 2 x Salah (MOM) drives saw the match over as a contest by 53 mins.

With 3 times as many chances (21-7), a solid performance across the board.

Although 4 at the back seems overkill, in reality it gives the attacking players the confidence to attack, so expected to remain in place for the time being ...

Close game, 5 players performed well.

Wieteska MOM as we reverted to a back 4 ..

A Mbappe chip on 18 won us the game ..

Still grinding out the results - but Raingod confirmed he will be looking for further reinforcements in the mid season break ..

PSG 2 v 0 Monaco

PSG brushed Monaco aside with probably their best performance of the season. Two more goals for Idriss Fares, another clean sheet for Dino Franchi and another assist for 16 year-old Rayan Cheriki makes Matt Harrison a happy CHAPPY.
