Saved penalties for living (before football existed pre Premier League) and reffed for a while.  Now talk about football, refs and VAR and run ESMS football websites.

Bayern Munich 0 -2 Juventus

Opted to go with an unusual formation for myself but it worked well as we took a 2-0 win against a very strong Bayern side.

Cuadrado and Higuain with the goals but there was a scare when Ronaldo hobbled off after only ten minutes but it is nothing serious thankfully.

We travel to Portugal to face Benfica next as we continue of pre season preparations.

Liverpool 1 v Real Madrid 0

A pleasing result for a first game of the season, with a clean sheet against a strong Madrid side and no injuries!

Salah unsurprisingly with the winner in the 1st half, though special mention to MOM The Ox, and a good subs appearance from Wijnaldum.

Real Madrid mission accomplished to give Liverpool a false sense of security going in to the new season. With real never really getting out of first gear for this match it was much more important to them than the result.

A great team performance against a lucky Liverpool.
